Happy Holidays Snowflake Ornament

Hello! Thank you for joining me, Corina, here on the Southern Ridge Trading Company blog. For this post, I wanted to share with you a special Ornament that I have hanging on my Christmas tree.

The steps I used to create these Ornaments are very simple. I used the embossing dauber to apply a layer of embossing ink on top of the Snowflake and Happy Holiday sentiment. I coated the Snowflake with Gold tinsel embossing powder and the Happy Holidays sentiment with blue tinsel embossing powder. Heat set all three pieces and let cool. I used glossy accents to attached the Happy Holiday sentiment. For a finishing touch I added rhinestones and gold thread to hang.

Christmas Wishes Card

Hello!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. For this weeks challenge, I decided to create a simple elegant Wishes Card for the Holiday Season. I love the Poinsettia Strip die and use it as many time as I can!

My most favourite part of this card is the Madrid Flourishes Rectangle Boutique Stacker Frame which I embossed with Gold Tinsel embossing powder along with the flourish from the Tags #2 die set.

I love Cheery Lynn Designs Poinsettia and use it as many time as I can. For this card, I used kraft cardstock with the Holly Leaves die strip and the Pine Branches die to create my Poinsettia floral arrangement.

Dies used:

Poinsettia Strip - B324

Thank you Card

Hello and I am glad you could join me! As Christmas is this coming week and the Weekly Challenge on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog is Thank You - I combined the to!

I know I have mentioned in the past that Cheery Lynn Stacker Dies are an ease to create great layering and depth on cards. As you can see, above and below, I used two die sets - the Coved Rectangle Classic and Coved Rectangle. I added the Coved Rectangle Stitch detail to a few of the layers. I layered the Circles to the bottom right hand corner and added the Circle Stitch detail.e

To complete my card, I tucked in the Snowflake to the left and right side and added rhinestones.

Dies used:

Merry Christmas Deer Card

Hello! Welcome back to my Cheery Lynn Designs post. I wanted to use a few different glittering techniques for this weeks challenge theme -Sparkle and Shine.

I used white texture paste with glitter, used a pallette knife to coat white cardstock and set aside to let dry. I then die cut it using the Curved Border for the snowy ground, Icicles Border and the Snowflakes (Set of 9) die set.

I used glitter embossing powder on the layered Deer in the Forest. Bling cardstock for the A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped and Merry Christmas sentiment. Almost every thing got a spritz of champagne glimmer mist to add dazzling effect.

Dies used:

Deer in the Forest - B484

Merry Little Christmas Card!

Another Sunday with a start of a new challenge. This weeks challenge is getting us into the festive swing with the theme "Red & Green"!

I created my card with only using the two colours. My Square Pierce stacker for the sentiment base and some of the Holly Leaves are inked with Bundled Sage Distress ink.

I multi-layered the Pierced Stacker #3 using a red polka dot and green branch pattern paper. I added three of my favourite Poinsettia Strip flowers with red pearl centers to the left side of the card. Tucked in some Holly Leaves and Pine Branches in a deep green to add depth to the arrangement.

Dies used:

Poinsettia Strip - B324
