Wish Card!

Hello!

My card that I will be sharing this week has a soft vintage colour palette and I used an assortment of "new to me" flowers dies!

The card cover is cut from a light pattern paper with the Card Cover Maker #1 die and inked with browns & blues. I added the edge of the largest A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped die behind the cover so the left and right edges only show.

Above is a up-close picture of the floral arrangement which includes ChrysanthemumFlower and
Bell Flower die. The greenery is a mixture of Flourish #6Flourish Leaf and the Ivy Strip.

I used two die cuts from the Nesting Doll Tags #3 set and layered the Wish Sentiment from the

Make a Wish Phrase dieFinished the card off by adding a few flat back pearls in brown and blue to the flower centers and embellishment on the card cover.

Cheers Card

Hello & Welcome!

Fall is in the air & Christmas is right around the corner! Also right around the corner is the Cheery Lynn October New Release. Mark your calendar and make sure to check back for this New Release will be on October 15th with card designs from the whole Design Team.

For todays card, I was given the folded Christmas Pattern card base from a friend to create with.  I cut the Joy to the World Wreath die three times, twice from brown cardstock and once in green. I layered them on to a Kraft cardstock circle and added three Poinsettia (create from the strip die) and greenery using the Pine Branches & Holly Leaves

I cut a Horizon Fishtail Banner for my wooden Cheers sentiment and added the wooden '25' to the lower corner of my card.

I decorated the inside of the card simply. I stamped on a Tags 4 diecut and added the holly leaves with rhinestones. I also added a matted A2 Rectangular Scalloped Frame.

Dies used:

Be Bold Card

Hello and Happy Friday!

For this weeks card, I was inspired by a sketch that I was given at a scrapbook crop. I used a new sentiment stamp set I purchased and my trusty Cheery Lynn Dies!

I started with a white cardstock base, added a layer on top using a die from the A2 Frames Rectangular in grey polka dot pattern paper, and corner rounded the right top and bottoms corners of each. I cut a layer from white text pattern paper and cut my matte using a die from the A2 Frames Rectangular in black cardstock. The vertical strip was from the same text pattern paper and matted in black cardstock.

I cut three circles using the Circle Classic - Silver Stackers die set. One in black cardstock, one in floral grey & white pattern paper and one in the turquoise small polka dot pattern paper. I cut the Candy Hearts Doily also from the turquoise small polka dot pattern paper, added the larger black cardstock circle to the back of the Doily and the turquoise small polka dot circle to the front.

On the black Polynesian Sails Mini Doily, I added my flowers and leaves. I layered these elements on to the card front and tucked in the thin border from the Deutschland Border Set. I added my sentiment to the circles and I was finished!

Dies Used:

Circle Classic - Silver Stackers - L-4

Hello Card

Hello! Happy Friday!

I have been showcasing  Christmas Cards and Well Wishes Cards these past few weeks. Today is an "All Occasion" type card which was inspired by this weeks challenge Things with Wings - on the Cheery Lynn Blog.

When I saw the pattern paper - I just knew I wanted to use the cute Bee Die. Perfect Combo! I pulled a few more dies from my Die albums (how I store my dies - which I will share in the future!) and started to create!

I layered the Italian Flourish Tiny Doily on top of the Polynesian Sails Mini Doily. I then die cut a small and medium Tea Rose - inked and sprayed each and added the trio leaf that cuts out with each of the Tea Rose strip.

I think that Bee works perfectly! So easy to colour because it comes with the coordinating solid background die. I cut the top detailed layer from black cardstock and cut the back die in white. I coloured the white die cut and adhered the black detailed die cut on top. Added some glitter to make the wings sparkle!

My top right hand corner needed something! I cut the Tag from scraps left over of the pattern paper and cut the smallest of the Horizon Fishtail Banners.  I trimmed the banner to fit and added the flower, leaf and rhinestones.

Here is a closer view of the floral arrangement, Bees and sentiment banner.

North Pole Card

Hello and Happy September!

Even thou Fall is upon us, I wanted to share my favourite Christmas Card. I have created this card using two Snowflake dies from the July Release, the Snowflake Delight 1 and the Snowflake Set 1.

Below is a comparison of both die designs and sample of the die used on my card.

Snowflake Set 1

Snowflake Delight 1

I used a simple layering combo for my card. I mention simple because the dies cut out with ease, add with a little adhesive - your work is done!

Starting from the base which was cut using Coved Rectangle Classic, I layered the Coved Rectangle - Scalloped to the Coved Rectangle Classic and added the largest Pierced Stacker #1 on top. I placed the Dancing Snow Flurries backed onto cardstock to the center of the card.  I trimmed the Paris Signs 4 down so I only had the label area and layered it on top of two Pierced Stacker #1 cardstock die cuts. To finish the card off, I added the layered Snowflakes with rhinestones!

Dies Used:

Snowflake Set 1 - B610
