Smile Card

Hello Everyone!

Corina here with you today from over on the Cheery Lynn Blog, to share my card that I created using the new Dandelions (Set of 2) die. When you purchase this die (and I know you will!) it comes with a left and right:

Image 1
I cut it out 4 time (both parts) and then cut the stems off. I creased the bottoms (base of the flower head) horizontally to create a ledge to glue down - so the flowers (Pappus) are 3 dimensional.

Did you follow me! I also used the new Horizon Fishtail Banners and stamped "Smile" because with everything and anything in life - remember to Smile!

Thanks for joining me and have a great weekend!

Take care,

Corina

With Love Card

Hello! Corina here, joining you with this weeks Friday post. I can not believe that it is already April 11 - almost the middle of the month! Do you know what is exciting for the middle of the month - April 15? Cheery Lynn Designs NEW RELEASE! Yes, it is!

I changed up my routine by cutting out my dies with black cardstock. This was different for me, because colouring & inking option was out! I decided to use flat black card stock, textured black cardstock, black feathers and homemade shimmer spray to give my die cuts - depth and elegance! I love the soft look of the card overall, even though I used black as a main colour.

Above is a close up of my floral arrangement. I used the background pattern paper for the Gardenia and Large Rose and cut the Medium Rose out in flat black cardstock for contrast. The Mini Fanciful Flourish and Olive Branches anchor the arrangement perfectly!

Remember to stay posted - great designs and wonderful inspiration is here to be found on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog!

Vintage Happy Birthday Card

Hello! Corina here again - as the newest member of the Cheery Lynn Design Team! It is so Awesome! Thank you BJ & Sandy for asking me to join the Team, to all the members of the DT for making me feel so welcome and of course "YOU" for taking the time to look at my creations and leaving comments!

I wanted to make a Birthday Card that had a softer, more vintage colour palette. I also wanted to try out some of my dies that I have not used yet! I know - I have dies not used yet - Gasp!

As you all know, plain cardstock and ink are my best friends! I laughed when I added my finishing touches to this card because I did not plan on copper accents. The creative journey - unexpected detours!

I wanted to share with you the photo below so you could see the dimension that Judy's Blooms die has on my card. This die is wonderful and easy to work with - another favourite!

So my challenge for you, is to join the weekly challenge here on the Cheery Lynn Blog: use

a Cheery Lynn die that you haven't touched lately and let your creative journey begin!

Please leave comments, to let me know that you are a Cheery Lynn Designs Blog reader, what you think about my card or if you accepted my challenge! My 7 year old would say - "I dare you!"
Remember to link your card!
