Happy Card with Corina Finley

Hello!

So glad you can join me for today's blog post! I have used three Cheery Lynn New Release dies on this weeks card - so lets jump in and take a closer look!

The three New Release dies that I used are the Royal Scandinavian Super DoilyPierced Banners and Leafy Flourish.

Above is a close up of the Royal Scandinavian Super Doily die, cut from white cardstock. I backed it with dark blue cardstock and add rhinestones for sparkle! This die is so elegant and can be used in so many ways.

In this next picture, I used the Pierced Banners and the Leafy Flourish dies.

I layered the large and small Pierced Banners die to the card base and added the Tags 4 die with my sentiment to the top right in the picture above.

I then added the Leafy Flourish die on top which was cut from white cardstock. I wanted more layers so, I added two petal layers of the Sweet Christine to the larger flower and two petal layers from the Embellishment #2 to the smaller flower. Added a rhinestone to the flower centers and down the side of the large Pierced Banners.

New Release Dies:

Leafy Flourish (Set of 2) - B571

Pierced Banners (Set of 3) - DL303

Previous Release Dies:

Sweet Christine - B434

Thinking of You Card

Hello Fellow Crafters!

Welcome to another Friday Card.

Have you seen the Cheery Lynn's April New Release! What do you think? Which dies are your favourites? Sooo many new wonderful dies to choose from! I am loving all the new creative possibilities these dies bring to my craft table!

Now to this weeks card!

I used all New Release dies except for the Cattails and Reeds. There is always an exception!

The photo above, features the new Royal Scandinavian Tag 1 die in blue cardstock and I layered my sentiment stamped on white cardstock on top. It comes with the extra filigree which I adhered to the top right corner of my card. You can use the extra filigree to layer on top of the base or on its own. You can use this die vertically or horizontally which is also very useful!

The Cattails and Reeds die went so well with my pattern paper, I just had to use it! I cut it out twice from the same blue cardstock as the card base and the Royal Scandinavian Tag 1 die. To create a dimensional look on the cattails I used flower soft.

Above you can see the New Release Pierced Stacker #3. I used 2 out of the 6 dies in the set to cut the Heron pattern Paper and blue cardstock matte. I really think this stacking die set creates an elegance design to my card.

I used two dies from the New Release Curved Border Set for the bottom layers of my card. The set has four dies to create a mix and match design details to your card.

In One Yesterday Card

Happy Friday!

For this weeks card, I decided to play with my new Mirror Mirror Doily Frame die and the Stacker Flower 5 die. - I used a turquoise pattern paper, white cardstock, a little turquoise ink and of course my Cheery Lynn Dies to create this card.

I layered the background using a die from the A2 Frames Rectangular Classic to die cut a turquoise pattern paper panel and white cardstock panel. I distressed the edges and adhered them on to my white cardstock base. The Mirror Mirror Doily Frame went on next.

I stamped my sentiment with black ink on to the Sentiment Tag 2 (Set of 3) and layered it upon a turquoise die cut from the same set - one size larger. Then pop-dotted to the center of the Mirror Mirror Doily Frame.

To form my floral arrangement, I used the two layers of the Stacker Flower 5 and then the Shasta Daisy on top. Tucked in a mix of foliage die cuts with some flourishes from the center of the Celtic Oval Frame die.

Added Rhinestones to finish it off!

Happy EasterCard!

Happy Easter!

Welcome to another wonderful Friday!

For this weeks card I wanted to have a lot of layers and create a nest for an Easter egg. So I took a look at my dies and went to work!

For the card base layers: I used the A2 Frames Rectangular Classic dies and one A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped die. I stacked them on top of each other - as simple as that!

I used the Gauze Border die to go across the center of my card and cut two medium Horizon Fishtail Banners in white to point away from each other.

One more layer before the nest, I cut the Alpine Flourish Doily out of blue cardstock and centered it on my card base.

For the nest, I used the Twiggy Wreath die and cut it out twice. I inked and over lapped them. I used the Lace Egg Five for my egg, backed it with my pattern cardstock, and added bling to make it sparkle! I cut out three Grass Border, inked and layered them back and forth. Cutting with scissor when necessary.

I added the small Horizon Fishtail Banners with my Happy Easter Sentiment. I finished it off with a little more bling here and there!
